When I’m painting, it gives me a quiet space to slow down and process what I need to. The imagery always relates to what my subconscious is thinking about in that moment. When I begin, I do not know where my painting will take me. By layering high flow acrylic paint, I develop the abstracted figures and faces that appear. Human made art is so important to help us feel grounded within ourselves and connected to others at this time.
WHERE TO FIND ME: June 21 – Summer Solstice Market – 12-6pm, Holiday Inn, Idaho Falls. June 27 Idaho Falls Pride Festival 10-5Pm Greenbelt Stage July 2nd Idaho Falls Art Walk – I’ll be selling my prints at The Willard Arts Center, downtown Idaho Falls.
