When I’m painting, it gives me a quiet space to slow down and process what I need to. I work organically, developing abstracted figures and faces from thin layers of acrylic paint. The imagery relates to what my subconscious is thinking about in that moment. The world is very intense and this is when we need more human creativity and human made art to help us feel connected to others at this time.
